With your group you will create a movie about the life of Buddha. Your movie will teach the audience about the most important ideas from your story and the religion of Buddhism. You will have to work together to brainstorm ideas for your film. You will assign jobs for yourself, write a script, and film the movie.
Your movies should be very creative and interesting and original. But they should not be funny or silly. With your movie you will show that you understand the important ideas from Buddhism.
Getting Started:
Assign jobs so that everyone is the leader in a certain part of the project. But everyone should help out with each task. Work together to find information online. Use this information to write your script. Take time with your group to brainstorm ideas. Everyone in your group should participate and everyone's ideas should be valued. If you disagree with someone in your group you will have to compromise. Once you have an idea you can create characters and scenes and start writing dialogue and narration.
You will turn in a typed script for your presentation. Your script should be at least three pages. Only members of your group may act in your presentation. But each member of you group can play multiple parts. Every member of your group must act in your presentation. You may use pre-approved props.
